When looking into the uncanny I did some research on hyperealistic sculpters like Patricia Piccinini, Ron Muek or Joseph Seigentheler. I've came across with some of them before and found them quite disturbing. Their extreme attention into detail makes them repulsive but some of them are deformed, alien like or a mixture of animals and humans, which is what makes them so capturing.
