Essay idea Unit 2- Spirited Away

In Unit 2 (Space) we were asked to choose a film or a game and analyse its production design. Since I am a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki I am going do research on his most famous, Oscar awarding animated film Spirited Away. When I first saw the movie about 9 years ago ( I was 10 then) I was absolutely captivated by its beauty and I am still admiring it when watching it. Its art is amazing, with a big emphasis on detail and, although it is a 2-dimensional movie, its colours and detail gave it a more 3-dimensional effect. I am excited to work on this as I have seen the extras provided with its DVD and found very interesting the way it was produced and its progress.
