Analysis: Menswear in the 1950's

Since Wayne, my human character, will be from the 1950's I did some research on menswear from that decade and discovered that basic menswear hasn't changed since then. It was all about the typical shirt, suit, bow-tie and hat. The hairstyle was quite distinguishable though with the hair being gelled backwards which revealed their faces.

A friend of mine also recommended me watching parts of a show called Mad Men which is set in the 1950's. Here are some sketches I picked out from it and screenshots with kitchens as a settings.

  1. It may be a little too late to tell you this, but Mad men was set in the 1960s not 1950s...
