To improve my framing, I cut a rectangle out of a piece of paper and made an inexpensive viewfinder. I went around and framed things and spaces I found interesting with photography. ( Unfortunately, the day was windy and in most photos the paper is wobbly! >_< whoops! ). It really helped me understand how to depict a setting and how much an image can change if the framing is slightly tilted or the view is birds-eyed (from above).

This is just a quick sketch I did just outside the student halls. I then used Photoshop to capture different frames of the image with the 16:9 Aspect Ratio.
