Visit to the Shell Museum in Corfu

Strangely enough, after all those years on this island I never visited this impressive museum which is not that far away from where I live. I thought it would be great for my project to have a look at real sea creatures, corals and shells. I was gobsmacked how amazing the under water world is and this visit has inspired me a lot. What I found mostly interesting was the variety of shapes, sizes and colours of sea shells and the textures of the sea creatures. I am definately going to use reference from this trip. :D

    As one of the artists in one of the digital art books in the library says;

    "the joy of creating sea creatures is, no matter how outlandish your creation, in a couple of years, someone will find something weirder in the sea"
